Where my clunker use to stay,
the Windex Blue paint was chipping,
the old oil stain to mark my parking spot,
and every dent was accounted for.
My mailbox, leaning half over
from many times of failed attempts of backing up.
There is no car today,
my baby is missing.
I have been missing my car,
even though i wasn't the nicest,
I sometimes talked meanly about him.
It should be a joyous summer night,
but for me,
there is no delight.
Just make sure you stop at that sign,
because one wrong turn
can leave you at a dead end

I really liked the line describing your car as the color Windex blue. Great imagery!
ReplyDeleteThose closing lines seem like they could also have a bigger, more figurative meaning about life in general...quite poetic!
